Leaving an abusive relationship takes courage and is incredibly stressful. Being told you need to “look nice” for the first court hearing on a protection order when you left with the clothes on your back and no money only adds to that stress.

We were able to send this woman on a don’t-look-at-the-price-tags shopping spree using Quiet Waters Connection funds. Afterward she looked beautiful in her new outfit and her smile was radiant!
